Doppler will treat the personal data that the user or contact provides through the corresponding forms or have been generated as a result of browsing or using the Services to the extent that there is a legal basis for each treatment, as established in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Likewise, we treat your information with the purpose described in this Policy in accordance with the following legal terms and conditions that allow us to legitimize said treatment:

    On the basis of consent

We request your consent to treat your information for certain purposes and you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. For example, we ask for your express consent to offer promotional information about our services, products or activities or others that we recommend, or to subscribe to our newsletter, participate in events, training and webinars.

    Exercising legitimate interests

We treat your information to defend our legitimate interests and those of third parties, such as meeting obligations with our customers, business partners, developers and rights holders, and responding to legal claims, including investigating possible breaches of the applicable terms of service.

    To provide a service

We treat your data to provide you with the service you have hired, including order management, payment and all operations related to the contract. This includes sending you emails, invoices, receipts, bad debt notices and letting you know if we need a different credit card number. We use third parties for the secure processing of credit card transactions, and we send billing information to those third parties to process your orders and payments by credit card. This may include the development of tools and algorithms to help us prevent violations.

Also to also allow our Users to use the Services to communicate with their Contacts. This also includes, for example, adding information about your use of the Services or visiting our website and sharing this information with third parties to improve our Services. • What information does Doppler collect and for what purpose do we use it?

Specifically, Doppler collects and uses your personal information in the following ways:

Information that you voluntarily give to us

When you register and use the Services, consult our customer service team, send an email, post comments on our blog, integrate the Services with another website or service, or communicate with us in any way, voluntarily, you are giving personal information that we collect. That information may include your name or the name of your Contacts, physical address, email address, IP address, telephone number, credit card information, as well as details that include gender, occupation, location, purchase history, and other demographic information. By providing us with this information, you agree that it will be collected, used, disclosed, transferred to the United States and stored by us, as described in our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.

Purpose: We collect this information to be able to offer you and provide you the requested service.

    Information we collect automatically

When you use the Services, we may collect information about your visit and browsing on our Websites and your use of the Services. That information may include your IP address, operating system, browser ID, browsing activity, and other information about how you interact with our Websites. We may collect this information as part of the log files, as well as through the use of cookies or other tracking technologies. Our use of cookies and other tracking technologies is discussed below and, in more detail, in our Statement on Cookies.

Purpose: We use this data to obtain statistics and navigation analysis, user behavior and to know how they interact on our website in order to improve our services.

    List and email information

When you create a Contact List or an email marketing campaign with the Services, we can access the data in your list and the information in the email. If a Contact chooses to use the 'Forward to a Friend' (FTF) link in an email campaign that they send, they will allow the Contact to share their email content with people who are not on their Distribution List. When a contact forwards an email to a friend, we don't store your friend's email address, and no one is added to any distribution list as a result of the FTF. The user who created the email campaign only sees an aggregate amount of times that their Email Marketing campaign was forwarded by a contact and does not have access to the email addresses used to share or receive that forwarded content.

Information about your use of the Service

We may receive information about how and when you use our Service, store it in log files or other types of files associated with your account, and link it to other information we collect about you. This information may include, for example, your IP address, time, date, browser used and the actions you have taken within the app.

Purpose: This type of information helps us improve our Services for you and for all our users.

    Information from other sources

We may obtain information about you or your contacts from third-party sources, such as public databases, social media platforms, third-party data providers and our co-marketing partners. We take measures to guarantee that said third parties are legally authorized or obliged to disclose this information to us. Examples of information we may receive from other sources include: demographic information, device information (such as IP addresses), location, and online behavioral data (such as information about the use of social networking websites, page view information, and search results and links).

Purpose: We use this information, alone or in combination with other information (including personal information) that we collect, to improve our ability to provide interesting marketing content for you and to develop and provide you with more relevant product functions and services. For example, we use this information to develop tools that help you to know your contacts and thus send them more relevant content.

Information on the use of our mobile apps

When you use the mobile apps that we implement, we can collect information about the type of device and operating system you use or ask if you want to receive automatic notifications. If you have opted for these notifications and no longer wish to receive them, you can deactivate them through your operating system. We don't request, access or track location-based information from your mobile device at any time while downloading or using our mobile apps or services. We can use analysis software to better understand how you use our app, how often you do it, and other performance data.

    Content of email campaigns

For security reasons, in certain cases, through software, we review the content of email campaigns to comply with our Terms of Use. This benefits all users who comply with our Terms of Use because it reduces the amount of spam that could be sent through our servers and helps us maintain a high delivery capacity. As email was not designed to maintain the confidentiality of the information, we don't recommend the use of Doppler to send confidential information.

Other Purposes in the use of your personal data

In addition to the expressed purposes, Doppler may use your personal information in the following cases and with the corresponding purposes:

To promote the use of our services

For example, when you visit our Website and provide us with your contact information, we will ask for your consent to be able to send you an email inviting you to create an account in the tool. If you use any of our Services and believe that you can benefit from the use of another Service that we offer, we can send you an email about it. You can stop receiving our promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each email we send you. In addition, we may use the information we collect to advertise our Services or suggest additional features of our Services that you might consider using.

To send you system alert messages

For example, we may inform you of temporary or permanent changes to our Services, such as planned interruptions, new features, version updates, releases, abuse warnings, and changes to our Privacy Policy. Also to communicate with our users about their account and provide customer support.

Third Parties with whom we share your information

We seek to comply with our obligations in cases of onward transfers to third parties and have contractual or similar arrangements with these third parties for this purpose.

    To provide you with suggestions

This includes adding features that compare users' email campaigns, using data to suggest to other publishers that their contacts may be interested in, or using data to suggest products or services that may interest you or that may be relevant to you or your contacts. For more information about our use of cookies and other tracking technologies, and instructions on how to opt-out of receiving data collected through the use of cookies, see our Statement on Cookies.

Transfer your information in the case of a sale, merger, consolidation, liquidation, reorganization or acquisition

In such case, any acquirer will be subject to our obligations under this Privacy Policy, including your rights of access and choice. We will notify you of the change either by sending you an email or by posting a notice on our website.

If you are registered as a user or contact of Doppler, you will have the opportunity to cancel your subscription to the promotional messages in each of the emails that we send you.

European citizens will also have the right to effective judicial protection and to file a claim to the corresponding supervisory authority, if they consider that the processing of personal data that concerns them violates the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

At all times, you will have access to your information to the fullest extent required by the Privacy Shield.
