By providing the Services, and as described in more detail below, we may collect personal information about a visitor to the Website, user, person or email address related to a distribution list or contact.
Who is the Doppler Representative for the U.S. according to the Principles to respond to inquiries or complaints?
According article 27 of the GDPR, the supervisory authorities and the persons whose personal data are being processed by Doppler can contact Doppler's representative cited on all matters related to the processing of data of European citizens to ensure compliance with the GDPR.
Doppler will treat the personal data that the user or contact provides through the corresponding forms or have been generated as a result of browsing or using the Services to the extent that there is a legal basis for each treatment, as established in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Likewise, we treat your information with the purpose described in this Policy in accordance with the following legal terms and conditions that allow us to legitimize said treatment:
On the basis of consent
We request your consent to treat your information for certain purposes and you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. For example, we ask for your express consent to offer promotional information about our services, products or activities or others that we recommend, or to subscribe to our newsletter, participate in events, training and webinars.
Exercising legitimate interests
We treat your information to defend our legitimate interests and those of third parties, such as meeting obligations with our customers, business partners, developers and rights holders, and responding to legal claims, including investigating possible breaches of the applicable terms of service.
To provide a service
We treat your data to provide you with the service you have hired, including order management, payment and all operations related to the contract. This includes sending you emails, invoices, receipts, bad debt notices and letting you know if we need a different credit card number. We use third parties for the secure processing of credit card transactions, and we send billing information to those third parties to process your orders and payments by credit card. This may include the development of tools and algorithms to help us prevent violations.
Also to also allow our Users to use the Services to communicate with their Contacts. This also includes, for example, adding information about your use of the Services or visiting our website and sharing this information with third parties to improve our Services. When we have to share personal information with third parties, we take steps to protect your information by requiring these third parties to sign a contract with us that requires them to use the personal information we transfer to them in a manner consistent with this Policy.
To comply with our legal obligations

List and email information
When you create a Contact List or an email marketing campaign with the Services, we can access the data in your list and the information in the email. If a Contact chooses to use the 'Forward to a Friend' (FTF) link in an email campaign that they send, they will allow the Contact to share their email content with people who are not on their Distribution List. When a contact forwards an email to a friend, we don't store your friend's email address, and no one is added to any distribution list as a result of the FTF. The user who created the email campaign only sees an aggregate amount of times that their Email Marketing campaign was forwarded by a contact and does not have access to the email addresses used to share or receive that forwarded content.
